Thank you for purchasing the Vermont Historical Gazetteer! This installation will put all of the files from this CD onto your hard drive and it will take approximately 50Mb of hard disk space on your machine.
1. After printing these installation instructions, close this document.
2. Double-Click the Vermont Historical Gazeteer CD-ROM icon on your desktop. The window that will open contains three items and an image. Open and read through the License.txt file in order to accept the license agreement. You may want to print it for your records. When finished, close the License.txt file.
3. Drag and drop the Vermont Historical Gazetteer folder to your hard drive or desktop from the CD-ROM.
4. Once the files are copied, you can access your product by opening the Vermont Historical Gazetteer folder on your hard drive or desktop. Then open the Infobases folder and double-click the Vermont Historical Gazetteer alias (icon). You may review the Getting Started prior to using the product or at any time for helpful hints on how to use the product.
Note: You no longer need the CD-ROM in order to access your product. You may want to file it with the license agreement (License.txt) and a copy of this document for future reference.
